walks' time table for long weekend holidays

The first walk when you arrive on the Friday starts at 2pm (1pm in winter time).
This ensures that even if your journey time is 2 - 4 hours you will not have to leave home at the crack of dawn in order to get to the venue. The walk leader will meet you all at the start of the first walk.
The Friday walk will usually start from the hotel door.
Each walk will last about 3 hours and will cover approximately 10km.
We are all about off lead walking and so all of the walks are planned to have as little road walking/sheep/cattle as possible. We make use of footpaths, bridleways, tow-paths and other permitted routes.
On Saturday morning, the walk leader will meet you at the start point at 10am and we will go on our walk. There will be a short (15 – 20 min) drive to each of the walks.
Each walk starts and ends at a dog friendly pub where you will be able to get a drink and a meal. Then the afternoon is free for you to explore the area whilst your doggy friend/s crash out and sleep off the walk.
Sunday will follow the same pattern and on Monday, after you have had breakfast and checked out, we will have our final walk leaving you free to depart homewards home after lunch.
We will be walking whatever the weather although you can, obviously, choose not to walk on any particular day. If we know that there will be bad weather in the morning but not in the afternoon then the walk may be swapped round.
